Hidden Handguns Still a Good Idea?

This will be my shortest post yet. Read this.

Do you still think hidden guns are a good idea? Thanks Governor Doyle for your veto.

And your point is? That you hate handguns?

My point is, even with limited training, more guns in the public are dangerous. Even airhead legislators don't know any better, and they are the ones who write these crappy laws.

As if CCW wasn't frightening enough. Look for the next round of NRA-sponsored legislation - "shoot first"- to come Wisconsin's way if CCW becomes law. "Shoot first" (already law in several other states, including progressive Florida...) allows someone to shoot someone only if they "feel" threatened, rather than if they actually are threatened. "Feel" threatened by that guy that cut you off on the highway, the kids hanging out on the corner, that aggressive legislative staffer that grabs for your tie?? Yikes...

I think it is bad public policy, the so called conceal carry legislation. I can't believe the Senate overrode Gov. Doyle's veto. I believe that stun guns, are a good thing though since they don't have bullets.
