Feedback Time
My blog has been officially up for two weeks now. It has been fun sharing some of the behind the scenes things that go on at the State Capitol, stories behind the stories and other random information that I thought was important to highlight.
Now it’s your turn.
What do YOU want to read in my blog? What do you want more of? What regular features would you like discussed?
I’m open. One of the things I love most about blogs is that they are interactive. I will continue to share my thoughts about what goes on in this often crazy place. As I continue to develop the blog, however, I would love to know what you are hoping to find out more about in state government.
Want more “fair and balanced” pictures of Bill O’Reilly? Do you really ever want to read about Mike Ellis again? Do you want to see and hear about my new puppy?
Add a comment below or email me at the Capitol. Rep.Pocan@legis.state.wi.us.
Thanks.

I'm really getting into the school voucher issue over at my blog (http://ineffect.blogspot.com), and it'd be great to have a view from inside the capital on that issue.
Mark,
I do so appreciate your efforts and this blog. Just keep us informed of the day to day events that we, the tax paying public, are not able to see. If you approach your daily events with this in mind, you will know what this reader, and I hope other readers, will find important.
Too many of the politicians feel that they have been given a blank check of endorsement and they can make the decisions for us. In a way, that is correct. We elected them/you. However, they forget that they work for us. You, kind sir, appear to be of the Senator Wellstone ilk, and don't take your position lightly. For that I am very very grateful.
Keep working at the blog. It will soon take on a life of its own.
You got a puppy?
What does Max Power want? More GOP dirt. Plenty of which you can find on my blog. Seriously.
Added you to my blogroll, Mark. Welcome and keep up the good work.
Someday,Rep. Pocan, your blog will become so powerful and popular that you will be forced to go out on a "blog tour" and blog from such exotic locales as Memorial Union, the park on John Nolan Drive, and others.
In all seriousness, keep up the good work! You make me miss home...
What are your thoughts on the real economic issues and where do you stand on trade, taxes, deregulation, immigration, minimum wage, unions??
Stick to issues that affect normal, everyday people. Expose corruption and hypocricy. Give us your honest opinions and when you feel outraged about issues or politics tell us about it.
Oh yeah, lose the puppy updates. The whole State Rep fawning over a mill puppy isn't exactly capitol insight I visit your blog for.
I read your blog because it gives insight into what's happening in the capitol. Overall, you do a nice job laying out some of the complexities of legislation. Perhaps I'm a public policy geek, but I know I can't get the sort of information from the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel that I can get here. Keep up the good work.
